Since 1997, Uncommon Scents Aromatherapy has been conducting general interest and certificate aromatherapy courses throughout the Greater Vancouver area. Uncommon Scents is known for providing the most comprehensive, up-to-date aromatherapy programs available and has earned an outstanding level of student satisfaction. Students can choose from four Aromatherapy Certificate Programs:

• 33-hour Aromatherapy Foundation Certificate Program
• 800-hour Aromatherapy Practitioner Certificate Program (comprised of Module 1: Essential Oil Studies and Module 2: Aromatherapy Bodywork)
• 50-hour Aromatherapy Spa Practitioner Certificate Program
• 6-month Aromatherapy Apprenticeship & Associateship Programs

Our staff have studied with respected international, national & local aromatherapists including Valerie Ann Worwood, Dr. Kurt Schnaubelt, Dr. Dietrich Gumbel, Jeanne Rose, Bob & Rhiannon Harris, Gabriel Mojay, John Steele and Suzanne Catty.

Uncommon Scents Aromatherapy is committed to educating the public about the safe and effective use of essential oils and to sharing aromatherapy with those in need through our many community outreach programs. The goal of Uncommon Scents Aromatherapy® is to not only achieve recognition as providing the best aromatherapy training programs anywhere, but to go one step further by providing support and mentorship to empower students on their journey of personal growth via the path of aromatherapy.
