Certificate Requirements:

The Foundation Program is divided into two sections – Part 1: Core Requirement (mandatory) and Part 2: Electives (which vary each term).
A Certificate of Completion of Aromatherapy Studies – Foundation Program will be awarded to students who have:

• completed a total of 33 hours of training;
• demonstrated competency in all assignments; and 
• obtained a grade of 76% or higher on the Final Exam.

A minimum of 80% attendance is required in the Aromatherapy Foundation Course with 100% attendance in all other courses. Completion of the Certificate Program can be accomplished at the participant’s own pace within a 1-year period. Non-certificate students can enroll in all courses as space permits with preference given to those intending to enroll in the full Certificate Program.

Part 1: CORE REQUIREMENTS - THE AROMATHERAPY FOUNDATION COURSE - 24 HOURS
Suggested Pre-Requisite - An Introduction to Aromatherapy or An Intensive Introduction to Holistic Aromatherapy

Part 2: ELECTIVES - A MINIMUM OF 6 HOURS IS REQUIRED
Additional Elective courses may be offered by Continuing Education Departments in other locations. Transfer credits will be assessed on an individual basis. Students applying for transfer credits should provide a detailed course outline, number of hours of instruction and official certificate or transcript.
